Hi all,

Just tried to call Marc and no answer, so if you read this Marc, call me,,LoL

I am not going to make it to Colorado after all.
Scheduling has too many conflicts in it. Plus the lady in my life, Patty,,,, has a daughter Amanda, graduating the following week and cannot make it. She has requested my presence at the ceremony, and possible help prior to that, as family members are coming into town for it also. I am not about to pass that up. I have been single for a long time, and this is a honor for me to be there. I hope you all understand.

I know this puts the rumors out as to the drags on Wednesday, etc. I can take it. I know there are many fast cats out there and I would be in the middle of the pack. I can even live with that.
I was hoping to show off my chrome front end though, and even the new paint job that is going to knock everyone's socks off I bet. But maybe Woodward or another event I can show it.

I am going to miss all the friends I have met through the events we go to, along with all the new friends I have not met in person as yet. I know it will be a blast there. And if I can do anything to help out from here I am ready. These large events are not something to miss if you can help it.

Have fun everyone, drive safe, save your motors, and trannys,,

I knew it! A lovely lady comes into JD's life and he is history........

Just kidding John, I understand. We will miss you big time. Marc's head just grew a foot. Post pics of the new paint job. Can you send Pena and some other Nor-Cal people in your place? I will not say ENJOY THE RIDE,,,, just enjoy the time with the new lady. See you another time.

Just talked to JD.
OOOOOOOH NOOOOOOO. Say it aint so! Now I have to go to NorCal to settle this.: What some guys will do for the attention of a good woman. Larry, guess I'll have to just take it easy that night at the track and leave the N20 bottle at home.
Congratulations JD you're doin' the right thing. Patty's a lucky lady.

JD, sorry to hear you cannot make it but you have to take care of things that are more important. There will always be another event but only one graduation. We will miss you. I might be able to talk a few of the folks into having a drink in your name! Now if I just had your credit card number, it would be in your name the bill and the drink would be in your name. lol.

Marc - JD was going to red light anyway, so you won by default Maybe Pena, Rudy, Fred, Laddie or Big Ron will give you a good run. Bring the bottle, for sure. Krehel has been quiet also,,,,,,,maybe planning on bringing his bad black cat to race? He is a sleeping giant you know! Toro-Toro

Amazing what a woman can do to our remodeling contractor friend. Now we can just call him a wood butcher!

Sorry to hear the Silver Bullet won't be making an appearance in Colorado this year. I was looking forward to seeing the chrome front end, too.

I totally understand your decision, though. You got to keep things in their proper perspective.

Regards

Marty

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah ..... Blah, Blah, and Blah ...!!!

I got so much heat back in the days from JD when I would not come out and play because I had to do what my wife asked me to do. He would just not believe it.

Now its my turn to turn up the heat!! John has been a Silver Bullet looking for a target. He will no longer be Silver Bullet but rather ... SITTING BULLET.

Got to change that banner of his!!

MAN John, you are really depressing me. I looked up to you and now you are giving up just because a female came into your life?? Look at me... I made how many events and never once denied you a cruise until my wife started putting her foot down and my 4 kids asking me out. You still got to marry and have kids... I will then ask you to do what I used to do with you in the prowler. I would like to see you keep up with me then. You still got many miles to travel my friend.

I will call you up and say... "JD, lets go for a cruise cause it is time for you to loose .." You will say, "NAH Dan, got to hang out with PATTY..." AAAAHHHHH!!!

How the times have changed!!!

Later..

JD,

What does this picture and you have in common??? ... I wonder sometimes about you??

JD is the guy working on the wall and I'm the one holding the flash light.

This is what I have to deal with!!

JD sorry to hear about that but I guess duty calls. See you at the next event. I guess I'll have to see what Marc has in store for us at the track.

Now Dan.....are you sure that wasn't because you put that wig on and turned into Elvis at the last Dream Cruise???

Or because she found out you were hangin' around Diana Ross and Marilyn...........?

Or because you were dancin' with all those strange women?

and then to top it all off......hangin' out with the likes of Dieter?

I would think that the trouble YOU got YOURSELF into cruisin' with John was minor in comparison to all those women!!! Remember......it was your hands on the wheel and your foot on the gas pedal!

I don't know Rudy. I already told John, we better take it easy at the track. I already rode shotgun for one entire event and JD for a day due to pushing our cars. Should have figured out a way to go to the track at the end of the event. Course ya never know. Get to the track, start smellin' that race fuel and the smell of burning rubber and you never know what could happen. May even open up the N2O bottle.

Marc this is true. I'd like to do the whole event instead of riding shogun in another cat.
