My new Candy Red will be arriving shortly and would like your opinions. What accessories would you add first? I am thinking I would like to stay pretty much stock as far as engine, drive train, gears etc. but I can be talked into about pretty much anything that makes sense.

Thanks

Front Fender Flaps immediately. Ceramic Brake pads front only, very soon. $9 Chrome Grille. Cold Air Intake approx $180. If you are going to keep the bumpers have them painted same color as the car . Get Shimmers from Jay Harris. Mount front signal lenses in rear bumper $50. If your not going to keep front bumpers get the Tom Mills bumper replace kit. Custom exhaust. (There is a new muffler on the market, you may want to wait to get a consensus on it after the Louisville and CO meets). Transmission cooler cover, many styles/variations available Just to mention a few.

Would you buy the Front Mud Flaps from the Dealer and the Brake Pads from Raybestos?

Kimo......welcome to the POA! I'm sure you can't wait until your new cat arrives!!!

As everyone else said, mud flaps are a must!! There's nothing wrong with stock. While all these guys are spending all this time sending their car out for mods and doing mods themselves.....I'm out cruisin' and having a good time in mine!! lol!

The only thing I've done to my 99 Black is change the grey bumpers to black ones and the Mopar Borla exhausts (mud flaps of course)!!

My new Candy Red has the Borla exhausts also and mud flaps. They are the same amount of fun.....with or without mods!!

Alex

What gears did you put in and why do you like them so much? Also, where did you buy them?

By the way, it sounds like a no brainer to at least get the flaps and pads.....

Well, after reading all the posts, the Kat is now having front mud flaps installed and the ceramic front pads installed. I was able to buy a "Prowler" car cover from the dealer here. He had 1 left! He even sold it to me at dealer cost (181.00 If I remember correctly as I was too excited to really even look at the charge slip I was signing...)

My new name is .........PERM-A-GRIN!!!

topcat:

I might get the trailer, I haven't decided yet.

Do you know if there are candyred floor mats available? I tried my local dealer here in Reno and he told me none were made in candyred.
Thanks
