Okay, so I guess I'm "old", too! I remember all of those and more.

We used to be able to take our burned out light bulbs to either the Rexall Drug store or Detroit Edison and trade them in for new ones (no charge)!! Rexall also had a shoe repair department. Neisner's Five and Dime store with the squeaky wooden floor! The Beer Store to buy pretzel rods for a penny each. Buying gas for my 1966 Malibu at 25 cents a gallon. Yes, home delivered milk in glass bottles, milk chutes and they had the best potato chips, too! I remember Sky King among others. Watching Detroit Red Wing hockey with my parents every Saturday night. That was when they didn't even play with helmets!!
