I looked around the net for a Plymouth site or message board not long ago. Didn't find much. My neighbor may sell his '65 Satelite convertible and I was trying to find him a good place to post it for Plymouth enthusiasts.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Mike,
Is it anything special?

Big block? rare other than convertible, like factory AC, 4 speed? and what is the condition.

If it is super nice and rare Hemmings is a good place.

If it is a 318 poly, AT car without something special, any of the multi state trader papers might be the spot.

What does he think the value of it is?

I look at ebay motors. Just surfing but you never know when you run across something you cannot live without.

Larry,

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you know a lot more about older Plymouths than I do!

It is an original car. I think a 283? It is a four speed. My neighbor is a mechanic and he rebuilt the motor last winter. It may have been repainted, but I'm thinking he said it was original. I know the interior is original, he was thinking of having the dash rechromed and getting the uplholstery and carpet replaced, not sure if he'll do it or not. I have some pics of it somewhere, in the background in pics of my SLK. I'll see if I can find them.

Thanks.

Mike,

`65 Satelite would have 318 poly, 361, 383 and I believe a 426 street wedge. Not sure but could have 273 LA but I doubt it. The 426 would make it the most Valuable.

Sounds like it could be a Big Block 4 speed car. Definately worth more than 318 auto.

In May they have all MOPAR Show in Columbus Oh. Good place to show/sell in car corral.

My dad retired from Chrysler. I was told at 15 I WOULD DRIVE A CHRYSLER PRODUCT. Now I work for ford and still like my Chrysler products best

You can see the car in the background at the link above. If he decides to sell, I'll definitely tell him about the Columbus gathering. I'll get the correct specs from him next time I see him too. He was in the Coast Guard reserves prior to Sept 11. Been on active duty ever since so he's only around a few days a month. He wants me to help with digital pics, so if he decides to sell I'll post some more pics and full imformation then. Maybe it the 383... I dunno!

Thanks so much.

Guys and gals,

It's a 361 big block, factory 4 speed with power top. I'll have to check about the A/C. I took 30 some pics of the car today and am working on a web site for it this afternoon. I'll post it in the Classifieds and the sites that CJ mentioned later today.

Thanks everybody.
