Thinking about a top of the line Laptop computer with all the bells and whistles, multimedia, largest screen, etc.

I have a Sony CD1000 digital camera I wish to use with it.
Appreciate any input on the subject. Thanks...

jpo350, don't mean to burst your bubble but probably 75% or more of the content of a laptop originates in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, or China. Trying to buy an American laptop is futile. They do not exist as truly "American" products. That is not to say that Asian components are not assembled in the U. S. to make a "U. S.-made" laptop but the manufacturing origin of a laptop is almost exclusively foreign.
