This is a riddle to be sovled by asking yes or no questions. If you have already heard this one before please don't play, or you will ruin it for everyone else.

There was small fishing vessle, that wrecked upon a deserted island. After several days with out food the captain asked for a volunteer, to go with him to find some food. The next day he and one of the crew set off to find food. The captian returned the next day, with a story of tragedy, and how the his deck-hand had fallen to his death while procuring the food for the rest of his mates survival. He said he had captured an albatross, yet slipped on the cliffs edge and he and the albatross both fallen to their deaths. Also that he had unforunately had to leave his mate where he had fallen, but was able to bring back as much albatross as he could carry.
This held the crew over until they were rescued two days later. Once back to civilization the firstmate was walking down the boardwalk one day, and saw a sign on one of restraunts windows. "Todays Special, Roast Albatross" since he had already had this on the island and quite enjoyed the taste he went in and ordered. When his meal arrived he took one bite, withdrew his side arm, and shot himself dead.

He realized he had eaten the deck hand since the Albatross did not taste like the albatross on the island? Never heard that story before.

ahhh, they hit shore in Manhattan and he had the Albatross at the Water Club where they gave the bill with the main course. He didn't have enough money to pay and had real bad chapped hands and couldn't bear the pain from the dish soap
as he would have had to wash dishes to settle his account.
did I get it?
