Its rare that I get on a soap box because there is usually not one strong enough to hold me but I need to release. In May of 01 I bought my first prowler and joined (so I thought) the PPC,through an article in the DC newsletter. I received NOTHING from them, not even a notification of my credit card being charged or anything. No license plate frame, sticker, magazine, patch, key ring, fake dog poop, or even a phone call.
Luckily for me and DC (we now have 9 Kats), I found this site. I have contacted Tom Kalski by phone and email months ago, trying to give him support and offers of help, he called back but no progress has been shown with the group. I offered repeatedly to fill the post of "Wisconsin Director". Now as I make my" once every couple month stop" off at the site I see nothing has changed. The same 99 yellow is for sale in the classifieds, the discussion bosrd doesnt open, and they still need a "Wisconsin Director".
Thank You,Mike, Tony, and whoever else made this site what it is, yes the members.
In the new messge from the PPC it says " a club is only as good as its members" Looks like that sumed it up for me. This "association" has the best members and is the best it can be. Thank you all for you high level of professionalism and making this the ONLY Prowler site for me.

Tundra Oyster Kat - Using me in the same sentence with 'professionalism' might be a push, but I appreciate the input and involvemnet that you and Teather have shown to the association. Stay with us my friend, its a long drive ahead, but we'll have a good time!!!

Bobcat, you are certainly in the right place. But with all those Kats, you better watch them closely. When you have more than one they can reproduce and you may find yourself with more than you can feed. But if you have the resources, go for it.

My sentiments exactly, Bobcat. Being the MN state director for the other club, I know first hand what a nightmare it is to get more than 2 or 3 kats together at a local or regional level. Didn't really do any serious cruising until I hooked up with you, Ghostrider and Goetz, and that was late in the year. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the first nice weekend of '02!!!!

Been there, done that. The chrome coating was peeling off the "official, etc", plastic license plate frame when we got it. The difference, as always, is whether people are in it for themselves or whether they believe in doing whatever they can for everyone else. Thanks, Mike, Tony, Dan and everyone else who has contributed to POA. All of us together is what counts.

Hey Guy's -- I think the "Other Web Site" is now history. You can't even email those suckers. Incompetancy will out in the end - always. ( Unless your talking about the Military or Politicians)

Okay, well......I will remove my original reply.......

Nothing I stated was meant as a personal statement to you, Bob. I thought you knew me better than that. I belonged to that "other club" long before the recently past owner bought it. As a member of that club, there weren't too many other members who took as much "bashing" by the President and Vice President than I did. It was the reason I chose to move to this group when it became available. However, I also chose to move past all that.....it doesn't matter anymore.......and if I continue to "rehash" and "bash" then I'm doing exactly what made me leave the other club.

This site offers free choices and free speech. So, of course you can voice your opinions and thoughts as much as you want.........but I thought I could also......guess not!

Sorry if you took offense at my thoughts.

I am sorry if its distressing but neither I or any present past or future member made the problem. Sometimes the truth hurts a little.

Well said CJ. I never have seen the need to bash the other site. There are nice Prowler Owners everywhere. We should welcome any and all of them. It sounds like the same way of thinking that starts wars. "My group is better than yours".

I have talked with many of the guys in the other PPC site. In fact many of our POA members were PPC members. I can't say that I dislike any member of either site. Sorry, to tell this to you guys that like to bash them.
