Yesterday we got out to No Problem Raceway and got to run the 01 Ram Diesel. Well, I now have new best ET of 16.68 and 80.4 mph... I did beat a gas powwered Chevy pickup (16.73)....

I like the "Official Track Rules".

1. HAVE FUN
2. MAKE FRIENDS
3. GO HOME HAPPY

This was a typical Louisiana fall day 79 degrees & 68% humidity. So, we should be getting some better temps & humidity soon...

Laddie, that is not a time for a stock truck, lol, ok, spit it out, what did you do? Box or Injectors????

That is way quick for either mod, it really floors people especially the gasser that you SMOKED.

Good Job, now, I hope you don't get bitten by the Modification bug, the mods are cheap but the tranny to hold that power is pricey.

Next time you run, put the tailgate down, worthy 2 or 3 miles per hour.

Way2Go

Thanks AL, Mike & Gary.

Gary, I have the B&D plug n power chip module... It took my RWHP from 194 to 228. However, I'm going have them take it out. I had 30 day trial (it was suppose to deliver 50 RWHP). It has improved my fuel mileage by 2 to 4 mpg (depending on whether I'm pulling or just cruising). I have hard top cover over bed, so I don't think tailgate being down would help...

I do like the mods & it is addictive. So, I'll have it removed for now. And, when I make changes again, I'll probably go with the DD injectors & maybe module. My next date on the calendar is for Sunday Feb. 17th, 2002. I'm arranging to rent the track for Corvette clubs & I will be there with Prowler & Ram Diesel (stealth).

By the way, we had nine of us at NPR track and 8 of 9 had their best times even with the less than favorable weather. A month ago we were at different track & temp was 59 degrees & lower humidity. This track is good. As matter of fact, the guy putting the water down loss his booth once. The track is so sticky, kinda looks & sounds like walking on black bubble gum...

Does Black Bubble gum make your teeth black?

I forgot who's box you had on there.

The problem with these mods is you enjoy the feel of the added HP and then you drive it harder and it is hard to see if you are getting better mileage. After my mods the mileage stunk, I raced everything that moved, but now when I get on the freeway and hit the cruise I get 22 mpg and love baby.

One thing Laddie, I am surprised at your MPH at the strip, do you have 4.10's or 3.54's in the rear?

BTW, it rained here yesterday and was the first time I have been in slippery conditions, I thought the Viper was scary at speed (in the twistys), the truck is a whiter knuckle ride(at 10 mph). So I have an adjustable box in the cab and had to set the box at a setting to DE-fuel and soften up the power band a lot, never used that setting before(tOOO slow). Nothing like going 80 and punching it and breaking the tires loose.

Take care Laddie and say hello to the family.

Gary, 3:54s in rear...

Don't know about the black bubble gum... I didn't chew it, I just drove on it...
