Dave, you are right, is wasn't pretty. They will come back.

Ed, you know you LOVE the Yanks getting beat, admit it!

Al, No fun is it? I've told new gal to root for my favorites or remain sitting home on her couch alone. God, what a pig I've become,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Series isn't over for sure, and if Yanks win three at home, I'll say they will win it. Have mercy on me Al..........

Al - I'm spending the day out looking for some road kill to cook up after this weekend, as in flat bird or coyote. Tonight's game could tell the story? What a game last night!

Where is VTProwler hiding?

Been busy lately AC. After today, losing to Pitt, I can't say much. I'd say VT is looking to next year already. I can remember the old days when we were glad to go a bowl. I have found memories, of what I can remember, of the Poulan Weed Eater Independence bowl. The students at VT now can't remember having losing seasons, I'm sure they are really down. Not that we are going to have a losing season. But we ain't going to the BCS.

I am right now watching the yankmees getting spanked. It sweet music to my ears. Got to love an underdog.

OK, time for trivia:

Before Big Red was known as the Huskers what were they know as.
1. Corn Shukers.
2. Bug Eaters.
3. Limp wrists.

And the answer is 2 - bug eaters. HAHAHAHAHA...

They'll always be the bug eaters to me!

Go HOKIES.

VT - very good! I thought about the "Bug Eaters", I can relate, being the lead Prowler out in front during the local cruises, I catch (EAT) all the BUGS for the group. It stands to reason that if you are OUT IN FRONT and the LEADER OF THE PACK(BSC) #1, you will for sure Eat some Bugs along the way!

D-Backs roc' & roll' to win, but did they use up all their scoring power in that game? The stage is now set, game 7 awaits, a toss up between the best. I have frozen crow in freezer, but am hoping NOT to bbq it! Grab your socks and grab your ,,,,,,,,,,,,,well nevermind, the game will be great! To the best team goes the title.........

Sasquatch, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a World Series and they did it by turning the tables and coming from behind. I was rooting for the Mariners when it all started but this is great.

AC, I would say the Bug Eaters deserve to be one of the top 2. I still have to pull for Miami, I think they are getting a BCS job done on them. Guess it won't matter after VT beats them, I can always dream can't I

I like my crow medium well!

D'backs pull a yankee in the bottom of the 9th.

Jeff and Ed - guess we will not hear from Al on this thread anymore, as he must be out painting the house again!!

It was the destiny of the D-Backs.....................

Aura and mystique have left the area!!! Not going to happen in OUR house! WHAT a game! Handed it right back to them for games 4 & 5. I'll admit, I was worried in the eight inning when MO came into the game and struck out the side, but as I learned earlier in the week its not over until the last out! NO MO >>> I'm now safe, and the road kill crow just went out into the trash,,,,,,,,whew!

Congrats to the WORLD CHAMPIONS 2001 - Arizona Diamondbacks!
OMG>>>that even sounds good!

I've watched my beloved Phx Suns be in two world championship series down to the last game, and know how the other side feels. Man, this is a good feeling, finally!
