Its a Mazda Protege5 in vivid yellow (limited edition color). And the license plate trim says: When I grow up I want to be a Prowler!

There are certain things that make a contemporary cool car and that are also part of the good old street rod tradition. Note the solid color body with no chrome stuff. The window area is all dark frames and tinted glass. Wheels are large spoked chrome and the wheel well/wheel match is clean and symetrical. It is lowered but not slammed with an even space to the pavement. Lights, spoiler and mirrors are integrated, and the door-protector strip fits the body contours. Its clean, functional and classy. We have a modified spruce pearl 95 Subaru Legacy with the identical qualities. We love it and people often stare--but nothing like the way they go nuts over the Prowler.
