Been intrigued by the Acura NSX, and may go get one, but want to know what others think of that car.

Anyone own one?
If so, what areas to watch out for?

You may visit an NSX forum here: http://www.nsxsc.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

I thought about an NSX a couple years ago when I bought my Corvette. Insurance on the NSX was higher than I was willing to pay. I believe an all-new NSX is coming out in 2003.

I owned a 1992 NSX from 1992-99 when I bought the Prowler. The NSX was awesome; fast, agile, well built, and a blast to drive. The engine emits a scream above 4000 rpm that was always a thrill.

I only put 9000 miles on the car but had no problems. The rear tires are soft and were replaced at 8000 miles but that is to be expected. Acura service was very professional and no hassle. The car is not a great daily driver since the ride is stiffer than the Prowler and interior noise is rather high.

All in all, the most exciting car I have ever owned.

Joe - contact Jason at MacMotorSports (from the vendor list). They do upgrades for NSX's as well, and can give you the plus and minus opinions.

They are quick, I know, as my first race loss was to a winged black one (ala ViperMad)- I sucked his dust! I wasn't proud of that, but had the balls to give it a try..
