Professor of Mathematics Rated R A professor of mathematics sent a fax to his wife. It read: "Dear Wife: You must realize that you are 54 years old, and I have certain needs which you are no longer able to satisfy. I am otherwise happy with you as wife, and I sincerely hope you will not be hurt or offended to learn that by the time you receive this letter, I will be at the Grand Hotel with my 18-year-old teaching assistant. I'll be home before midnight. When he arrived at the hotel, there was a faxed letter waiting for him that read as follows: "Dear Husband: You, too, are 54 years old, and by the time you receive this letter, I will be at the Breakwater Hotel with the 18- year-old pool boy. Being the brilliant mathematician that you are, you can easily appreciate the fact that 18 goes into 54 a lot more times than 54 goes into 18. Don't wait up." ------------------ |

For many of us 60 year olds the potential rugrat result is a highly effective deterrent--the expenses multiply exponentially. There is also the problematic ratio of how do you keep up with her. Personally we feel very fortunate to be in an equilibrated situation like an older, smooth-running engine: all the parts may be worn but they work just right together. ------------------ |

I am shocked! At 115, and one of the POA's foremost authorities on these types of situations I am shocked that I have not been contacted to express my views. It is no secret that I have outlived the usefulness of many young things and, the one area of positive conclusion that I have come to draw on is that there is always another one around the corner at your local Home Depot. The Prowler has proven to be an incredible "chick" magnet. The problem that is always prevalent is this 18 year old thing. I never chase anything less than 27. At that age they have enough experience to understand the situation better. Give up on the 18 year olds and start pursuing the 27 to 36 year old bracket. Trust me, I am a self appointed expert and I really know my stuff. Gotta go,, as today is Sunday, and on Sunday's I usually take the Prowler down to the beach where I put on a long board demo and then usually ride my own ride for a couple of hours. Scot PS 18 usually doesn't desire to go into 54 at all whereas 54 loves to go out with 27 as it is twice as good! ------------------ |
