Dan, I was not offended by it but I didn't think it was particularly funny, either. I just did not think it was well done, and that is why it was not funny. If they poke fun at "W" it can be funny at times, but I think this was more like the new Sat. Night Live v. the old Sat Night Live, when it was funny & clever. I wouldn't give you a strike for it, you are allowed to post things that everyone else won't unanimously agree with. I'll bet that there have been one or two times I have posted things that everyone did not agree with. lol |

I guess I should speak for my post. What I thought was so hilarious was that some moron/idiot would take the time in his/her schedule to manipulate a pic like that at a time like this. I know it's not funny from a realistic stand point, but what a waste of time...by the way, Born and raised Texan would never laugh at DUBYA! I also made my statement based on anger that someone would find humor in doing something like that. A life-changing event has affected all Americans. I feel that we should show respect for our President (regardless of personal feelings toward him) and for the members of our military. The President is in the process of making decisions that will affect all of us and we need to show support and respect. Our military is and will be fighting for (and possibly losing their lives for) and upholding the freedoms that we hold dear and often take for granted. If we do not give them the respect and support they deserve, then the terrorists win. I, for one, will not allow that to happen. |
