Was that synthetic oil you were talking about AmsOil?

Let me tell you my short story about LE.

I tried it my souped up trucks tranny and it #$%^&*()&^%$#.
I am now running, Redline for a GM in a D/C product, it works way better. Oil doesn't shear and shifts hard again.
25 degrees cooler coming off the TC and in the pan.

I have heard nothing put good things about the LE motor oil. I was told by one of the Dist. that the LE oil will clean all the crap out of your motor. So don't freak when your oil chances color so quickly.

When My new car and Diesel gets enough miles, I will be a Redline guy.

It might not have been the oil. My guys tested LE (they were hired to do so)against Red Line (and many other oil brands)and in comparison Red Line sucked the big one. Considering these guys build rods and race cars for a living... You can contact them at 661-295-1550, Tri C Engineering, ask for Rick or Larry. I asked them today and Rick said the only oil they did not test against was Amosoil (sp) which was the oil Cliff was wondering about because the Prowler tech in Fillmore swears by it. I personally have 140K on just one of my vans with LE and it still runs like new. Considering this is the oil used in the multimillion dollar turbines that generate our electricity....

Thanks Todd for checking into that! I am thinking of changing out to AmsOil - my Prowler Tech said they have a guarantee (if you use their oil filter and air filter too) against oil related engine failure. I have been to their site but did not see the guarantee.... more homework for me, like I don't have enough
