If you see a Mulholland with a weekender screaming down the 5 to La Jolla Friday night and then screaming back up the 5 Saturday afternoon - it will just be us

Just giving fair warning that we will be invading your territory for an evening

Better check road conditions, there is a white diesel Dodge sooting up the 5 and conditions are bad and visibility is down to 10 feet.

Traffic is hell on friday. Add a hour or two for travel time.

La Jolla, where are you staying?

We will be staying at the Marriott. Thanks for the heads up on traffic - I figured if we can leave home by 5 we should get there by 10.

Your post reminds me of a law that is still on the books in El Paso,TX (my home town). It says you must notify everyone in town a day in advance if you will be driving your horseless carriage through town, so people can get their horses away frm the road if they think the horses might be spooked.
Thanks for the heads up. I'd jump off the 5 and use PCH as much as possible.
enjoy your stay.

Shoot up the 15 and drop by, 15N to 76 west , 2.5 miles to Gird go right, then take first left into Sycamore Ranch(1 mile), fourth street on right, Lancewood Way, third house on right, 3604 Lancewood Way, 760 723 5567.

When you leave you can go up 15 to 91w to 71 to 134 to 210 to 5 then home, much nicer drive and fast.

I never take 5, yuk.

As the oldest Prowler owner in the POA, at 114, you know I also live in the San Diego area. I am planning on being near La Jolla at the annual surfing contest where I will be performing on my long board, with my latest honey "sweet drawers."

She just turned 33 and we are going to do some high stepping in the area. Might even stop by a few Home Depots on the way. If you see me you'll know me by my young looking escort and my speedo with the Prowler insignia.

I just wanted to thank you San Diego guys for calling all your friends and telling them to get their horses out of the way because I was coming into town!

We decided to chance the 5 and the traffic was fantastic - go to La Jolla about 8:30 instead of 10.

Gary - I hope you are feeling better and had a good time at the wedding tonight

BTW - the In-N-Out we saw is in Carlsbad... we found it with our noses... if you know what I mean

Glad to hear that you found the traffic to be light. Also glad to hear that you found one of our finer restaurants in the Carlsbad area. We have several more just like that one in the greater San Diego area.

I was up at the crack of dawn today, had my Zino out and polished my Prowler in order to maintain that incredible glow. I am now packing my little filly in the car and headed to the surfing championships in the La Jolla area.

I'll tell you, between my Prowler, Speedo and my blonde haired, blue eyed former model honey, I will be one stand-out 114 year-old contestant.

Hope to see you Prowling the area as I am always happy to see another owner. I am really excited about the event today as I will be competing with all of the best of the best and I intend to teach them a thing or two.

BTW, I have no fear of sharks as I have mounted my teeth on the front of my board for them to see. It helps to keep them clean and I know where to find them at the end of the run.

I just tip the scales at an ounce or two over 98 pounds and any defense that I can muster against all predators is helpful. Keeping the honeys away is my real problem. They all want to see my Prowler!
