Well I finally took the truck to the Drag strip, the mods they did in Canada to the tranny certainly helped.

1st. 14.32 et 96.96mph launched at 3 lbs. boost
2nd. 15.38 et 96.07mph launched at 6 lbs boost, major wheel spin
3rd. 14.58 et 96.97 mph launched at 5 lbs boost, a little wheel spin
4th. 14.17 et 97.07 mph launched at 4 lbs boost

I could hear people talking about the guy in the Diesel truck and why and the hell would this guy bring that deal to the strip, well after a couple of passes everyone warmed up and started to ask questions. Really had a good time and also got a bunch of thumbs up from the crowd on the return road.

I have Flight reservations for Woodward but still up in the air to go or not, but you will never know until I get there.

Gary,

There is a guy in Orange County that is redoing his Durango. He has bored out the engine so it is now a 408 and he is putting a blower on it and some other modifications. He is even going far enough to build a new computer for it and write the program to run it. He is expecting somewhere in the area of 550 hp out it. He doesn't know if his drive train will hold that much power though - it is a 4x4 for petes sake.

Everytime he starts talking about what he is doing I think of you and your darn diesel!

The motor weights 700 lbs heavier than your motor, Muzz.

Camper shell and interior kit is at least 600 lbs.

STICK IT IN YOUR EAR< MUZZ
