Anyone else at the Street Rod Nationals last weekend in Louisville? 12-13,000 pre '48 rods there. Impossible to see them all. I have some digital pics I can post tonight if anyone is interested. I thought it was a nice primer for Woodward, I'm psyched now (and wishing I had a '32 roadster...).

Mike - I live in Louisville and work directly across the street from Fairgrounds. A lot of great cars all last week. Took my 16 year old daughter on Saturday. Had a wonderful time looking and trying to decide if I will flame my car how what type of flames we would like. Met Rick from St Louis and his Father.

Post the photos, I would like tosee them.

Will see you at Woodward.

Here are some pics. You guys know what the kit car jpg is? It looked like that butterscotch car posted here not long ago. The bestpaint jpg had an incredibly deep paint job with grey ghost flames that don't show in the pic. It was a beauty.

The Kit car is a Allaway speedstar.
I was building one then sold it to buy my prowler.

Thanks for posting the pics. I liked the gray ghost flames also. The whole show really makes you think what is possible with a car. Did you see the car with the 3-D flames?? They were 1/4" thick fiberglass flames cut out, custom painted and seamless atttached to fenders, doors and side panels.
