Rebecca & I attended the Brickyard 400 yesterday. Of course we drove our cat. Wow - talk about attention!!
We felt like celebrities as we inched our way along the streets near the track heading to our parking spot in the infield. Even met a prowler owner along the way. He already posts here so couldn't recruit anybody new.

Had numerous photos taken. It was great. My wife says if she isn't careful she might become a Prowler snob; what with all the attention we were getting while the poor C-5 couple next to us couldn't understand why nobody was talking to them...

Oh yeah - it was a great race, too (even if you are not a Jeff Gordon fan)

Happy Prowling

Marty

It took us less than two hours to drive from Louisville to within site of the track (got to that point about 11 AM) From there it took over an hour to go three blocks to the entrance to infield tunnel

BTW - the new glass pack sounded REALLY good in first gear in the tunnel!!)

Seeing that Tony George has ruined open wheel Indy type racing forever the Brickyard is a race that I would go back to, been to the 500 13 times.

Cool to see the vette owner kinda of Sizzling in the Heat so to speak, who knows, they could be a future Prowler Owner.

Killer race, Harvick had the lead for a while and Gordon is definitely on a roll. Hope Jeff wins the championship this year because next year Harvick will win it.

Well, Dodge had three top ten finishers yesterday...

Maybe, the FIRST Dodge win will be at Michigan Speedway same weekend as Woodward...

Yepper, Dodge boys did good, they needed that longer nose for traffic, the 40 car looked good all day.

I'm sure that some other make will whine now that Dodge got the new front valance length and say they have an unfair advantage. Then it will start all over again.

Then all need to do something with the aero-push, better racing.

Gordan won? It was a fix! GM paid off NASCAR!

Am I a poor loser? Yes I am.

Gordon is the new breed of driver. Not a good ole boy. I guess he is the way of the future. I don't think I will ever be comfortable with that.

Thanks Dan, as you know, no big deal. I just load all this cool stuff into the puter and wait for conversation to pop up to use it!

If this gets old guys, I'll stop it.
