I lost a friend over the weekend, he has a great guy, very great guy. The sad deal was I was unable to go to the last three Western States in Washington for some weird reason. The Western states is a H.O.Scale slot car race going into its 25 year. People come from all over the USA to race this deal, tons of fun. Here is my point, when I moved into this house I became too busy to keep in touch with most my friends, Bruce and I talked about 5 months ago and he was doing good, until saturday he fell over dead after a slot car race at his house. I am sure this is the way he wanted to go, he loved the sport for the sport of it and not to win but to be a good time and have a good time. He will be missed. Keep in touch with your old friends, pick up the phone and give them a call, friendships are priceless and usually cannot be replaced. We are having a memorial for him this month and i will not miss it for the world. I got clearance this time to go, thanks Michelle. ------------------ |

Gary- We are truly sorry for your loss. As everyone knows I lost my father just a few weeks ago, and we were GREAT friends. Now the BAD news. Jody & I were in S. Texas visting her family this weekend and I ended up in ICU with severe Pancreatitus. The Dr. has instructed me not to travel for at least 30-60 days to try and build up my pancreas . Like Gary said, NEVER stop keeping up with your friends. LIFE IS TOO SHORT... and after looking death in the eyes this weekend... I am crying just thinking of all the wonderful friends I have made here and the friends I have lost contact with over time. ------------------ |

Gary sorry to hear about your friend. No true'er words can be said for the need to keeping in touch with friends and family. Life is to short to let stubborness and folish pride stop people from saying. Hi how you doing or whatever needs to be said at the time. Paul my prayers go out to you and your family. Take all the time you need to get better, it's better to sacrifice some time now than your life.. Keith. |

Paul we were looking forward to you and your wife arriving at Woodward early and cruising with Carol and CJ. The most important thing is your health. Take care of yourself. There is always next year. This will be an annual event for Linda and I. ------------------ |
