I received this out of no where, I have not sent any emails to this person since this person completely lied about there ability to sell me a chrome grill. Sorry, but have to call a spade a spade. I guess the assumption is that this person is sick or something but this person should not have represented that they had a grill to sell and keep feeding me lines of cr@p over and over. Does anyone know how to block unsolicited email?

Here is what I received: (again, I never asked where it is from, and have no idea why it was sent to me)

My entire family is there...including some family members who are lawyers.

My youngest brother plays semi-professional golf and is a golf instructor.
He teaches a lot of lawyers how to play golf. As a matter of fact he plays golf
with some of the biggest lawyers in Houston. I also attend some of the outings
as well with several charitable groups, including the American Cancer Society.

I think a lot of my lawyer friends in Houston would like to know what kind of person
you are especially when their friend is fighting cancer.

Linda

Enough Already!

I've been a member of this board since inception but I will tell you now that due to all of the backstabbing and personal vendettas that have occured recently, I am getting very discouraged as to the future.
Please take this stuff up with your rivals off the site. The site is not the place for personall issues. It is a place to share Prowler information.

Please and Thank You
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I am going to say this just once and that is all. If you do not like my post, please ignore them.

Yes, I have a chrome grille, but I did not want to sell it until it came back perfect (sent out twice). I will list it with a pictures on the Classified section of POA as soon as I am well enough. Please!!!!

This is a forum to share ideas and services as well as, to call a spade a spade. IMO Mr. Chrome has a legit beef and is giving others a heads up on what many here believe to be a pie in the sky individual ... when one of their "fantastic" post or claims pans out, perhaps our views and perceptions may change ... util then ... maybe they should re-think hitting the send key just as we all have asked Jerry (FMITBT) to do. BTW ... well enough to attack and threaten members but not well enough to post a photo?!? Where does it end? Too funny.

I agree with Larry, What I see is a post being made to stir the smell. Plese call each other at home and keep your personal E-Mail and feelings to yourself and off the board. I think most here want this to be a positive board and one to share goods and bads about a car and not each other. Please let me be the one to decide if I want to post about a topic or decide if I want to ever talk to anyone. I try to read each post and then I go from there. I am not and will not take any sides but it does seem some need to grow up and get a life because they are not enjoying this one.

So if someone on this board is deceptive and misleading in their dealings and facts, it should NOT be made aware to the other members who read this board, but rather left to each individual to "discover" the "problem" on their own? Doesn't sound very "team" oriented to me Mr. Viper.

I for one appreciate Mr Chrome for sharing his frustrations in dealing with one of our own ... makes a strong statement for buyer beware -- additionally, to be threatened by the other said member ... just doesn't bowed well for earning the membership's trust (maybe thus the sympathy plea ... who knows).

In any event, because a member tries to "warn" others about the habits, behavior and trustworthyness of another member Does Not mean the original member "has no life" ... petty insulting statement if you ask me ...

Again, I apprecate ALL posts, read ALL posts, and ignore those that aren't worth my time to respond to ... and I appreciate your thoughts on this subkect as well ... but I still agree and thank Mr Chrome for his posting of this thread.

Ray and Chrome,

I think that you more than adequately made your point. Now, please stop beating a dead horse and let's move on to something more positive!

Someone upset because they didn't get a pic?? Awwww

Some positive post??

I've purchased the vinyl flames Sassy spoke about on previous post, no problem. Very happy with them. Even spoke with the supplier on the phone, who knows Linda. Has done many cars for her. A female BTW.

Chrome, if you are really interested on chrome grills, such as mine which is from the same supplier Sassy used. You can do a search and find all the info you need I'm sure. I remember my thread being very detailed. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to e-mail me. You'll get a prompt reply.

John, It wasnt about the pic. It was about being led to believe that it was "going to be here soon, Going to be here the next day, oh its not up to par, sending it back, now I have a pic but can not send it I do not know how", ect, ect, ect, on and on and on. If it was just about a pic, no big deal. Here in Texas we take a dim view of people who feel compeled to mislead. BTW, I would have followed your thread, if I was not strung along for almost 2 months. Hey, I know I should have given up sooner but the promises kept comming. You can rest assured that I and others that have emailed me will do our own thing when it comes to getting after market parts. Thanks

Yep,

Two months is a long time. Especially since there is so much other information on the board concerning grills.

As I stated above I didn't have that problem . It was a positive deal all around. Got the email from Sassy, contacted the vendor, was happy with the discription. Done deal. But then, Im just a guy from Northern California. (Whats with that?? )

Sorry it's so large,, these are the flags for here. , or will be for some.

One of the things I like about this board is the search option. There are many many ways to obtain information.

Your right John, and that info led me to call the guy in Florida and he said it would be 8 weeks minimum to get it chromed. I was told I could have one in a week or two, so I waited, then I did not get it,(nor did I get any real info, other than its coming, blah blah blah) so I called back now the wait was 10 weeks, so then I waited and waited. I am real clear on how to search on the message board. I did and I called and got info that led me to take the word of another member on this board that I could get one sooner. I am glad you had such a great experience with this person, however I did not. Northern California?
