1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville Coupe. The Conv. version is an Eldorado Biarritz. 2100 Coupes were built and 1800 Convertibles. Engine 365CU, 325 HP, 10:1 compression ratio.
Two four-barrel carburetors. Love that color.
The four door version is called Eldorado Broughm it only has a single carb and 300 HP, single four barrel. only 400 built.
In 1958 all body styles were similar. HP was increased to 355 on all models, all had two four barrels.

Rich, I am impressed, you forgot to say only 2100 built, truly a collectors item.

4 problems with this car:
1. No Air
2. No air ride $$$???
3. No two four barrels 3k
4. Front end might need a rebuild, 4K

I was amazed that just the air cleaner housing is 1.5k, ouch.

thanks for the interest

Vintage air

leave it as single 4 for drivability

Enjoy a cool car

Love driving the `74 Coupe De Ville in the garage, but would really like a `59

Definitely a high dollar car. They were known for lots of problems with the air ride.

GC - I have a long time personal friend who judges Caddies at car shows, and appraises them. Want his email address?

They were neat in their days, but to me now, they are worth what they weigh.

Some of those old Caddys were wonderful. In '68 I bought a black '49 convertible for $89 (the guy wanted enough for a payment on his new Firebird). Restored it on a shoestring, and the only change was a 12 volt battery with a voltadrop. The engine started making cracked piston type noises when I was short of money, and I sold it for $550. I'd give my left nut to have it now.

Donny, if you give up the one on the left, would you still be able to **** the old motorcycle, that is my only concern.

You only need one, but it's nice to have a spare.
Anyway, I sold the scooter in '81. Had a problem with my right wrist--it kept dropping. Opened it full bore too often. I got left turned once and ran off the highway at 65 once, and decided I better stick to four wheels until I get mature like you.
