Why are blonde jokes so short?
So men can remember them.

A true story!

Last summer, down on Lake Isabella, located in the high desert an hour east of Bakersfield, a blonde, new to boating, was having a problem. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn’t get her brand new 22-ft Bayliner to perform. It wouldn’t get on a plane at all, and it was very sluggish in almost every maneuver, no matter how much power she applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, she putted over to a nearby marina. Maybe they could tell her what was wrong.

A thorough topside check revealed everything was in perfect working order. The engine ran fine, the outdrive went up and down, and the prop was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath the boat. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard. Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer!

Now, I've seen boats but the tow vehicle in because it was not unhooked ( with jeep still running before it sank ), I've heard of boats being dropped on the ramp, before the water, the boat lanched without the drain plug ,BUT NEVER TRAILER ATTACHED TO THE BOAT LOL

Thanks for a new one to add to the list of DUMB THINGS PEOPLE DO WHEN GOING TO THE LAKE

What is a boat

hmmm, a funny but unlikely a true story. If the front winch cable was still hooked up to the eye bolt out of the front hull then the trailer must have come off the ball at the ramp. That is pretty unlikely since the "third" swing wheel on the front of the trailer would probably have to be lowered, lock in place, and then raised. Or if the rear tie downs were still on and the front winch cable wasn't connected to the front hull eye bolt then the the trailer would be dragging or, more likely, the prop would have hit the rear-now front-cross member on the trailer. If both the rear tie downs and front cable were still attached - oh who knows. The blond bought a Bayliner. That about says it all. Like buying a Yugo. There is a reason you can get a 22' Bayliner with engine for + - $17M when a same sized and powered Cobalt, Chapparel or Mariah costs $35M-$45M. MasterCraft, Ski Natique, and Mamba not considered because they are true in board ski boats excluding V drive models.
