If you want to check out the "Make-A-Difference" HOME BASE, check this web site www.thepikestreet.com. Remember it is casual dress for this event (plue jeans, shorts etc.) even the waiters are going to be in jeans and special T-shirts. Hope to see everyone there.

This place looks way nicer than Bo's last year, good work.

Glad to see you raised the prices from last so you will be able to make a profit, is'nt that a Charity is all about.

Can't wait, truly the Best Event of the Year. JOMO

Hope it's OK to show up early again, last year was a BLAST.

Hi Gary,
Yes, this is a great place, and its much bigger, BO's said that they couldn't give us any more room, so we looked else where. Pike Street Restaurant is beautiful and the food is great! So you are going to brave it again this year! I promise (I) won't get you with any water guns this year. Have you moved? I got back a thank you letter that I sent you. Let me know.
Carol
PS - If you come early, you might be put to work!!!! But fun work.

After talking with Carol and CJ they expressed to me the closer we get the More money we will pay. I myself made about ten calls and the rates where 175 to 200 bucks a night within a 15 mile radius of Woodward.

I really like the $69 rate and we get to have a small cruise everyday with our friends on the way to Woodward. 20 minutes is not that bad especially saving $100 a day on a room, it adds up very quick. $5.00 dollars on gas or $100 a day. Larry, make up the difference and we will stay with you. hehehehehe

I vote for the same hotel.

Gary I agree with you. It really was not that far and the price is right. I vote same hotel.

I like Larry's idea of being a little closer.

However, for the difference in hotel rates, I say let's stay at HI (same place as last year).

Now, what I need to do is get my bearings straight so I can get back & forth on my own. I felt loss all last year & always needed to follow someone... But it was nice cruisin...

No, guys......we are working on special rates with the hotels. It may not end up being much more money if we get the deal we want. It would be closer to all venues, but not so close that it will cost those prices. With the traffic we have here, it is usually longer than 20 minutes. Don't worry, we have plenty of cruisin' planned.
