And when they got to the pearly gates, St Peter told them they had to wade across the river. They all wondered how deep the river was in the middle. St. Peter assured them that they would only sink as deep as their sins on earth would allow them. All 3 were very reluctant. Finally George decided to go ahead. The farther we waded the deeper the water got. He was afraid he would not make it across as the water reached his chin. Then the shore got closer and he finally was out of danger. He looked back to see who was next and he saw Gore midstream, with the water barely covering his ankles. He was shocked and dismayed and told St. Peter that something was surely amiss, as he knew Al was a bigger sinner than George was.

St Peter told him that Al was standing on Clinton's shoulders.
