Lowest? Leon Pearson in Nevada is a State Farm agent, I think. Must be some perks to the job. Leon, can you tell us, or is it too low to advertise? hehe Don't mean to put you on the spot. Hope I got the right guy? This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 01-29-2001 at 09:16 PM |

I just happen to live in one of the most expensive cities in America when it comes to car insurance! The rate for my Prowler is approximately $1,240.00 a year -- pleasure use. I wish many of the Prowler owners, along with their assortment of automobiles, lived here in Vegas. If you were my clients you'd get great service and at least a card or two! I keep a box of tissues (for tears) and smelling salts (for fainting) on my desk for new clients moving to Vegas from various States -- it is truly sticker shock. Unfortunately, there are no discounts for being an agent. |

Leon - Tell me it isn't so. Want to retire someday to Henderson or Boulder City. Any differnce in rates for those areas? BUMMER Maybe I need AARP auto ins.??? Ya think? ------------------ |

Henderson has the same rates as some areas of Las Vegas but Boulder City is lower. It really doesn't matter which company you're with in Vegas/Henderson, they're all expensive compared to other areas of the U.S. However, no State tax and a 24-hour/365-day life style - the ultimate city that never sleeps! |

Fits me just fine - I like boating, golfing, Prowling, and SIN. Have my own slot machine, don't need to donate to casinos. Sounds like Boulder City for me, in about eight years. ------------------ |

I pay $ 640 for the Prowler, $459 for a 94 Intrepid and $ 302 for the m/c. I got a $ 24 dividend check today along with the m/c bill. So I pay just under $1400 per year for all 3. |

Larry, I will call my agent tomorrow and tell him that you feel the Intrepid premium is a little high. I will split the new discount with you and add it to the 29 cents I already owe you. I hope they don't drop me after the call. |

Do you buy the point cut or flat cut corned beef for St. Patrick's Day? Are you sure the Monahans came from Ireland? You are too tall to be a leprechaun ------------------

Larry, How could ANYONE get upset with you (or me for that matter). I don't particularly care for corned beef, as a matter of fact. And I don't drink beer so maybe I'm not irish. I went to County Monaghan and also to the town of Ballinasloe, which is where we are from. Nobody remembered me, though. I would love to tour Ireland on a motorcycle. What a beautiful place. If only I could stand Guiness. |

Larry, Sandy gave me a chain saw for Christmas. It was a coincidence that she needed a huge tree cut down. I told her that her house needs a paint job. I will probably get a ladder and paint brushes for my birthday. What a gal. |

Gary, I, the poor guy, pay about $95 a month for my Kat and a '78 Camaro that I drive to work. That's about $1140 a year. Most are amazed that I don't pay more. ------------------ |
