My friends with the two PT's and the Silver Prowler homes are in grave danger of losing everything. These people were at the GC Event this year.

Been on the phone with them and the fire is across the valley and moving towards them.

I can see the smoke and I am 65 miles from them.

Please pray for them for the safety of their homes and toys.

Thank You

Really sorry to hear that Gary......I'm sure everyone will say a prayer for their safety.

Do they have any time to evacuate?

Jeff is moving toys out as I type, I offered my help but all roads are closed.

The Beale's are racing back from the desert to prepare for the worst. They own the Silver with the cool striping on the side of the car.

Even if you can't get in, are they letting them get out? What a helpless feeling that must be.....we pray for a good outcome.

Good News, at this moment, the wind has changed directions and is moving away from our friends homes.

At this moment.

Will update later.

At least their homes are safe for the moment, let's hope the wind dies before someone's house goes POOF.

They are going to have a sleepless night.

Only one mile from the Beale's house about an hour ago.

Only four houses lost.

Four houses is too many, but certainly better then 400. My heart goes out to those people...

Gary, the fire was in the local paper here in Cincinnati. How did it turn out for your friends, the Beales? You guys should consider moving to the midwest where Mother Nature treats you better. It is supposed to get above freezing today for the first time in 18 days. I might go swimming.

I saw a house go up last week in my neighborhood. What a sickening feeling. The smoke was billowing out of every seam in the house. Most of the houses in my area are from the 50s, so everything is wood framed making fire a fast spreading thing. No one was in the house, but my heart sunk when they carried out a lifeless dog.

CJ, they say it is going to be up in the 30's tomorrow. I'm leaving for Myrtle Beach Sunday morning for 7 days of golf. The long range forecast there calls for mid 40's to mid 60's. A little colder than last year. I sure will miss this weather while I'm gone.

The Viejas fire that has scorched 10,500 acres and destroyed at least four homes in eastern San Diego County continues burning, but the fierce Santa Ana winds that originally fanned the flames largely fade. The cause: a carelessly discarded cigarette. Containment is expected Saturday.

11000 acres

30% contained

300 feet from our PT/Prowler Buddy's.

Shelly(xgirlfriend)is reloading the fire trucks with her dad's water truck for the last two days.

They are still on alert.

I sure hope by the time this is finished being typed - the fire is out and all is safe. You feel so helpless this far away. Let us know how it turns out. Our prayers are with all of you.
