Kwanzaa (Quansa) is a holiday celebrated by many African-Americans. It is held December 26th through January 1st. It was started in 1966 byDoctor Maulana Karenga, Professor at the California State University, Long Beach, California. The seven day celebration encourages people to think about their African roots as well as their life in present day America. Kwanzaa is based on African festivals. The word means "the first fruits." |

Not that big a deal MidlifeProwler. I was on the site late last night and one of my Singapura's (Julius) was perched on top of my monitor with my monitor Snowman. I thought it was cute, so I took a digital pic of him (with Prowleronline on the screen of course) and posted it. GC said it looked gay...so rather than embarass myself, I took it off. I guess what one person thinks is cute someone else might not. No big deal..we are all entitled to our own opinion.
