Installed my Wonder Bar this morning and went for a short ride. What a difference, it no longer rattles my teeth going over the cattle guards here. It feels like a different car now, very nice.
My install required me to drill out the rivets, I replaced them with Button Head cap bolts. Overall install was pretty easy and straight forward.

I have been thinking of getting a wonder bar for some time. A question do you still have the run flat tires on your prowler?

I'm glad you're happy with your wonderbar but I've not heard of anyone drilling out rivets to install theirs so I'm wondering why you had to? What rivets are you talking about?

Yes I am still running the run flat tires for now.
The rivets are used to fasten a metal bracket from the bottom portion of the nose body work. Its a one piece bracket from one side to the other with 3 rivets on each side. I guess some can just remove the 2 bolts and the nose piece will move over far enough to remove the bar.
Mine would not move enough.
Once that bracket is out, its easy to remove and install the bar. The bracket runs under the bar mounting clamps and in front of the bar.
I may have been able to move the nose piece over, but it just felt like something was going to break, so I just drilled out the rivets.

You are correct, it is a lot easier job without that cross piece in the way. I didn't remove mine but was very tempted to.
