From a strictly WAX standpoint, I used Mequiar's Gold Class for several years and got great results. Easy on, easy off, great reflectivity.

About a year ago I switched to Meguiar's Tech Wax. I found it even easier to use and much less white powder residue. That's what I'll continue to use.

I've found Meguiar's Tech Wax to be about the best wax I have ever used on any car.

I guess we tried a lot of car wax and we keep on trying new products. The wax room in our garage will attest to this. 8 cars you need a lot of wax???? The one wax we use most often is Griots.

We use a Mother's 3-step system.....and my cats look awesome. I use Meguiar's Quick Detailer to maintain them between waxing.

HI
I have tried a lot of waxes
The Zaino is good but the the best i think is the Zymol Carbon.
It makes the car look like the paint is wet
You can go to www.Zymol.com and check it out.

I have tried a few over the years and so far I'm sold on Meguiars Tech.I also have found not to put one brand over another brand.Once a year I use the clay and start over.Works for me.

I haven't chimed in until that comment -

You originally asked about a 6-month treatment. The winner in that category is undeniably Zaino (Guru reports was mentioned, prowl around www.autopia.org for verification).

Although ProtectAll is a show-winning product (oftentimes over Zaino), it does not have 6 month durability. Some consideer it to be a very good quick-detailer.

Suggest you decide between durability (Zaino) or quick gloss (Protect-All).

Oh, also, nobody mentioned this - Zaino is not a wax and it is not a polish (shiny-yes, abrasive-no).

If you like to "wax" your car every weekend, you won't be disappointed in the ProtectAll.

If you want to shoot for 6-month protection, go with Zaino.

Hands down Zaino! Don't let all the instructions fool you, it's easy. After the first application its just wash the car, dry it( I use backpack blower). Then I add the enhancer to the little bottle I mix up. Takes about 10-15 minutes to apply lightly. Let it dry, depending on outside temps, then with clean cotton towel buff out! Done. Every month or so I put on another coat. It's easy. If I go to a show or something I bring a bottle of their detailer. Spray it on a cotton towel wipe it off. More coats the better, its not wax! "Bulletproof"!!!
