Any one have experience with these? The fronts come in the OEM size but to match the flame cut design in the rear, I have to go with a 295 45 20. This is a 5% bigger tire but I think there's lot of room for it.

They are BFG G-Force T/A KDW

If they ordered part# 59160, it's the OEM size in the same tire but a different tread design.

when you do the math it works out to .58 inches so a little over 1/2" overall and 1/4 inch per side. The OEM must only be 1/2" away from the frame I guess.

Maybe it will settle in a bit.

It should be OK though as I don't think there would be much forward flex happening. gulp!

Got mine today and got the same 1/4 clearance. On the way home, I put her through the motions. Hard braking/accelerating/cornering. She performed well with no rubbing so I guess we are good!

Looks great! And no clearance problems.

How do they ride?
Better?
Same?
Noticeable handling difference?

Keep us posted on how you like driving with them. Nice...

BFG are a great tire now, and a very nice looking on you kat beachcat When BFG first came out they seamed to be square and hard to balance, but over the years they have become one of the top. They are made by Michelin.

Just a follow-up. The tires are nice. The ride is smoother but only marginal, not night and day. They handle well and seem to grip better. They are quiet, can't hear them.

I never really had a problem with the ride of the runflats. I just got concerned about having 12 year old tires on my car. And I always thought they looked like sh%t on an exposed wheel car.

I was worried about that too but I haven't had any stone chips in the paint. I even tried driving on a gravel road with another vehicle tailing me. Then went over the entire car since I was going to wax it anyway and I don't see any evidence of that.

But time will tell. I will report back.

No. I took my spinners off so the tire shop wouldn't have to. Notice they are back on in the last pics.

Just had the BFG KDW2's installed. I put 225 50 17's on the front and the 295 45 20's on the rear. Had to clean up the frame corner weld some, they are very close.
The ride is great, I will never go back to run flats again. I have a compressor, plug kit and a can of sealant in the trunk. Along with road side service. I feel the difference out weighs the rough ride of the run flats any day.
