Tentatively, we are leaving early Friday and driving through St. Louis and spending the night somewhere around Oklahoma City (11 hours later). Saturday will be another 11 hour day driving to Winslow, AZ meeting up with Tom Miles, Rich Buehler and Jim Kenney. A short drive Sunday into Vegas. Most of our driving time will be on I-40 with some Rt.66 side trips.

On Saturday May 5th, we'll be taking part in the "Arizona Fun Run" starting in Seligman and traveling to Kingman with many stops along old Rt. 66 before we get to Kingman where we will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

On Sunday May 6th, we be departin Kingman via old Rt. 66 to Oatman and Topock Gorge before we turn north to Las Vegas for check-in at the South Point.

Anyone is welcome to join us at any point in our travels. The Arizona Fun Run Arizona Fun Run is a fun event. There is an enrty fee of $50 to take part in the run. Proceeds benefit the Arizona Route 66 Association.

you keep rubbing it in that I cannot go

NO ED, I cannot call in sick for 2 weeks

actually if I had know what was going on at work and when vacation that they force I might have been able to go, but timing isn't right

Hope you all have a good time and someone post some pictures so those of US that have to stay home and WORK can see what FUN you all are having.

If the group is coming thru Indy at Lunch or dinner time remember the place I took everyone to in Mooresville in 07 (GRAY BROTHERS Cafe) a great place to stop for a refuel of the body with some great food and pie

If it is the right day I might be able to meet up if I'm not in KY

We will be leaving Indy on US 36 to near Denver, dropping down to Colo. Springs and then going past the Royal Gorge and into Silverton and down the mountain into Durango. We will arrive in Winslow on Sat. and meet up with Rick Buehler, Jim Kenney, Tom Miles at La Posada and then arrive Sunday in Las Vegas.

If anyone else wants to jump in with us, you are welcome. We are avoiding Interstates if at all possible, enjoying the scenery and the other Prowler folks on the way out there.

Yeehaw, almost time to roll west.

Sun. 04/29 drive from MS or LA to Ovilla TX arriving at our sons house approx 2:00PM

Tues 05/01. Drive from Ovilla TX to to Carlsbad NM.

Wed 05/02 Morning tour of the Carlsbad Caverns. Leave caverns around noon driving to Albequerqie NM.

Thurs 05/03 Albequerqie to the Petrefied Forest then to the Painted Desert and on to Winslow AZ.

Fri. 05/04 Winslow AZ to Hisperia CA.

Sun. 05/06 Hisperia CA to Las Vegas

Fri. 05/11 Leaving Las Vegas and hauling a$$ back to GA to arrive home on 05/14
