Time to start making plans for the 18th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise / Prowler Event. This is my 15th year of hosting this event and I plan to make it as much fun as the last 14!!!

The dates for the event are Wednesday, August 15 - Sunday, August 19, 2012.

For those of you who have attended any of the Dream Cruise events with the Prowler owners know what a great time we always have! I'm working on several things to make sure this one is just as enjoyable. For any of the new owners on the board or anyone who has not been able to attend in the past, do a search on our website using the key words "Woodward Dream Cruise" and check out the threads to see what Dream Cruise is all about!

You can also use the internet to log onto the Official Woodward Dream Cruise website and read up on it also. It is the world's largest one day Cruise!!!! Looking forward to seeing you here!!!

Please post here if you are planning on attending (except those who already have).

The hotel that hosted us for Dream Cruise for the last couple of years is unable to accommodate ANY cruisers this year due to a corporate event that weekend. We will be returning to that hotel in 2013.

I have chosen a different hotel for this year, so... if you plan on attending Dream Cruise this year, you can book your rooms now!!! Here is the info on the host hotel.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Courtyard Marriott will be our host hotel this year. I have blocked 15 rooms initially and they are ready to take reservations. If we need more, they will be able to accommodate us. I would recommend booking the hotel as soon as possible.

As our other hotels have been, the Courtyard by Marriott is easily accessible from the Interstates. There is a wide variety of restaurants, gas stations, etc (list included in your event booklet). It is also located close the the Chrysler Headquarters and the Walter P. Chrysler Museum.

They have a large parking lot which will allow them to rope off an area for us to park together. An outside water connection will be available for washing cars. Please bring your own cleaning towels.

There are two room options. You can reserve either a King room or a room with two fulls (both rooms have a sleeper sofa bed also).

The rate for either room is $109.00/night plus tax. When you call to make your reservation, tell them that you are with the Prowler Owners Association - POA for the proper room rate. Again, I encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible. Call the hotel directly at 248.858.9595.

In addition, they are offering us a reduced rate of $4.00 per person for the Breakfast Buffet at the hotel's Courtyard Cafe. There are other restaurants in the are if you would prefer (map included in your event booklet).
