Monday will be the official group picture day, weather permitting. We will try to do some other nearby things.
Monday evening, take a ride up to Ober Gatlinburg in a gondola car and have dinner overlooking the mountains.

Tuesday, Breakfast up in Townsend followed by TAIL OF THE DRAGON with an optional trip to Cherahalla Skyway, possibly. That is a long day if you do the Skyway. Tue is also the back up day for the group picture if the weather is bad on Monday. Enzo is the photographer.

Wednesday, Trip to The Biltmore in Asheville taking the scenic route there, lunch and possibly a group picture in front of the mansion in the late afternoon and return on I-40. Laddie is taking care of all of this. The registration fee will not include admission to The Biltmore or the lunch.

Thursday - Laddie has set up a train ride in Bryson, an hour and a half away. It is a very nice train and beautiful countryside. This is NOT included in registration.

This will be the BBQ dinner in the hotel convention center followed by the Halloween party until Midnight. We are hoping most folks will participate in the costume portion but it is not mandatory. Last year's party at CJ & Bob's produced some amazingly good costumes. Gatlin was the star.

Friday Oct 9 is the getaway day.

There will not be an auction in all probability.

What we are doing on which day is pretty well set. Everything else is subject to change.

Bradley is doing the name badges, of course. He has some great ideas but I need to get with him on them, he says. I will agree to whatever he already decided, in all probability. After all, he made me look good as the BrokeBack cowboy on my badge. I don't have a creative bone in my body so I defer to the proven experts.

Gordon Karns is checking into pins so if anyone has any leads on that, let him know.

Lou and Sharon Oniga are doing the registration form for me when I finally get everything in place. It is actually shaping up pretty well in spite of me being in charge.

I am getting revved up about it. We have been down to the hotel twice to get things situated. The lower lot will again be the parking area for both types of trailers.
We have about 60 rooms in the hotel and about 35 in the INN so we are probably going to be using both lots. You can park in either one, we will attempt to have reserved sections in both of them but I don't think we will be able to get all 100 in the big lot every time. We'll play it by ear. It is only 100 feet away from the other building. Park where you feel comfortable with your car's safety in mind. Mine is insured so I don't really care.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions about other activities, please let me know. We might have a go-cart shoot out. There is a ton of things to do very close by.
The weather should be ideal, after all, it is a POA event.

Monday
This will be the picture day if the weather co-operates.
We will also be doing some go-cart racing but it is basically a rest up day from the long haul.

Tuesday
Breakfast at the Carriage House in Townsend (included in registration)
followed by cruising the Tail of the Dragon.

Wed.
Depart for The Biltmore at 8 AM. Lunch at 12:30.
Fee is $ 59 per person, NOT included in registration.

Thurs
BBQ dinner at the hotel Convention center followed by the Halloween party. (included in registration) You can dress in your costume before we eat or leave and come back since it is right there at the hotel.
If you are not staying the entire week, we can deduct this from the registration fee.

Registration will be $ 50 per person. That includes the Wine and Cheese party, breakfast on Tue and the BBQ dinner and party on Thursday.
The Biltmore is an additional $ 59 per person.

We will be posting a registration form in the next few days.

On the form we will need your name, spouse's name, screen name, year and color of car, trailer ?
City, State
Biltmore Y or N

and anything I forgot but someone will hopefully remind me of before we do the form. Thanks Brad.

So basically you need to send $ 50 or $ 109 PER PERSON. Should be simple.
