Trey, that is great. We haven't seen hide nor hair of you for several years. I stopped at Music Road Hotel this morning. Things are shaping up. I got some answers to questions and need to read some of the stuff I got from them. By the way, someone must have cancelled their reservation since they told me we have 91 rooms. That means a room may possibly be available. I am not positive about that. There are also some folks registered but not in on the POA group rate, folks camping and a local or two or three. There are some folks coming from Fla. They will chime in, I am sure. |

I think that the Music Road Inn and Music Road Hotel are booked solid. There is a Holiday Inn Express right there. If you don't have a room and need to get a room, I would call as soon as possible. Oct. is a very busy month in that area. I don't have the number handy but I am sure you can call the 800 number and ask for the H.I. Express in Pigeon Forge on Henderson Chapel Rd. |

We are heading to VA on Thurs or Fri and will stop by Pigeon Forge on the way home to try to nail down the final loose ends. The contract was messed up so I didn't sign it yet. I think it is all in order now. |

Thanks. I just got a PM that DOCS ROD is coming from Longview, TX. If you are registered at the hotel and your name does not appear on the list, AND YOU WANT IT TO APPEAR, let me know. There is no way for me to get updates on anyone who is not in our block of rooms. I have a room available as someone just notivied me that they cannot attend due to health issues with some family members. If you are looking for a room, let me know. I am not sure which hotel it is in, the Hotel or Inn. |

Brian, sorry to hear that you can't make it. Hopefully things will change and at the last second you will be able to swing by for a day or two. They told me that we had 96 rooms booked today. I need to get a newly updated list. I will attempt to get someone to fill your room in the near future. Thanks for the heads up and again, sorry you can't make it. |

I got the updated list from the hotel and was making some changes to my list. The hotel report said 4 had cancelled and I think I screwed up and removed someone who should not have been removed. Check the list and let me know if I removed you by mistake. I know a few of the 4 who cancelled the rooms but I know some are registered at the hotel but not in the POA block. It was nothing sinister. It was a stupid mistake on my part. I don't remember the name of the one I deleted unfortunately. |

Things are falling into place thanks to a lot of folks working behind the scenes and doing most of the work. I have been receiving registrations and checks and I thank those of you that are sending them to me early to avoid the last minute crush of work. |

6 weeks away. I have had a few more cancellations but there are some new folks signing up so the number is staying fairly steady. |
