My 02 won't crank over, has new battery. Had it towed to dealership, after 3 weeks, they "think" it may be the PCM. They want $2500. to repair. Just got the prowler back to my house, and think I might send my PCM off to theprowlerstore.com to have it reprogrammed. If that doesn't work, then may have to order another PCM. Does anyone have some input about my car, or used the Prowler Store? |

Try this first: automotive electronic solutions Don Wieber had some problems and I think it was his TCM but they can probably work on anything electronic. The Prowler store is probably just a middle man. Their prices are usually very high anyway. |

Thank you! I will call Andy tomorrow Monday. My husband has been through this cars wiring, battery, grounds, and nothing seems to stand out or look bad. Hopefully the PCM cam be fixed to make the car start again, and run right. Never had a code or engine light, but did have a dead battery and I left it on the charger for a lengthy time. So maybe had something to do with the PCM going bad. |

Do the lights and radio work? If not you may want to check the batteries positive (red) wire where is goes down under the car. Several have had that wire short out on the frame. |

Yes the lights work, radio, dash board, all interior seems to act fine, but when you turn the key nothing happens. We did check the battery connection, and looked for shorts, or ground problems. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. I sent my PCM off today to AES, hopefully it comes back to me and the car starts! I will be so happy! The company seemed legit, and sincere this morning on the phone. They seem to think they will have it back to me by Friday or Monday. Wish me luck, as my prowler really needs a bath! LOL |

If the car is NOT cranking , It Will NOT be a computor problem, Check ignition switch or starter. |
