Did a quick search and found several different possible fixes but all the posts were older so I figured I would see if there were any new updates regarding my issues.

Having a problem with the prowler inst panel. No odometer, no speedometer, no gas gauge, no oil pressure, and the fan clutch doesn't kick on. The only two inst that work are the tach and the amps gauge. Checked fuses and couldn't find the problem. Starts and runs fine, just no insts or AC. It looks like when you turn on the key to start it, the gas gauge goes down to zero but hard to tell because I need gas lol. Makes me think something is going to ground with the ignition key on. I found an additional fuse box under the master cylinder but my hands are too big to pull them fuses. Also the airbag light stays on which is supposed to go out after a few seconds. I drove the Prowler down to get gas because I knew the gas light should be on, thinking maybe the low fuel switch was causing the short. On the way there everything started working right before I got there. Got my gas, started it up and now it's not working. I thinking it's not a fuse.

I think spoons nailed it down to a bad chip in his cluster in his 97, but if he posted back his final results after trying to get it fixed I don't remember what the result of the fix was. I don't think the 97 chips are available anymore. What year is yours? (I don't think your AC is related.)
