I want to buy a set of plain steel wheels that will be a drop-in replacement for the prowler front wheels. The new rims must be able to accept the tire pressure sensor and stock run flat tire.
Anybody know what bolt pattern and offset I need to ask for or where to buy these? Its a 17" x 8" rim right?

OK I found this from an old post:

5 bolts on 4.5" bolt pattern
Front 17 x 7.5, 5.5 rear offset / backspace
Rear 20 x 10, 6.25 rear offset / backspace

Is this good info? Any concerns about step-down clearing the brake caliper?

I was going with Smoothys and wide whites until I got American Racing to make my rims my way, here is a link http://www.whitewallsplus.com/smoothie.htm you can drop to a 15 in the front if and only if they make what I think they call a shallow drop rim by this I mean the outer rim only has about a 1/2 inch step down and you can drop to 17 in the rear, they have 17 wide whites also. Hope this helps.
