I just remembered this sentence. This has got to be the joke of the day on here. I mean come on man, you can't really believe that?

"But I am not here, day in and day out, ragging on somebody, or some issue that, "their just not doing it my way, wah wah wah,"

I don't think I have seen anyone whining like that, to tell you the truth. There are totally opposing points but no one is whining or crying about it. Either side. Maybe I am missing the point on something but I don't see that at all.

At this point it seems to me that YOU are whining that we are not all agreeing with YOU. I do see your point but then again why should we change to accomodate you when you only come on this site once or twice a year ? Your first post in a blue moon is pretty critical of the site and the folks posting on it. I don't see all that many threads with political stuff on it. I think it has been toned down quite a bit recently.
Again, you have the right to your opinion and the right to come on this site and express it. By the same token, I have the right to disagree with you.
As far as it being a joke, were you aware of the new gun regulations that are being added on to a Senate bill that has nothing to do with guns, before someone mentioned it here ? I surely wasn't. I haven't fired a gun in 18 years but I don't think I need to register my gun at this point or pay a fee to keep it. If the bill goes through it will be very difficult to buy ammunition. I think that is downright scary and I only own one gun and I think we do need some stricter gun controls. I have learned stuff from the political posts, maybe not a lot of stuff but there are things that I checked out after being alerted here. Some I agree with and others I don't.

So your providing a service to the site?,.

No need to change on my account Ed. Like you said, I rarely come on here anymore. Thing is, I, like many others, don't come on here because of those posts. True I don't have a Prowler anymore, but I do like the humor in some areas on here. But to see all the political stuff is a big turn off, wah wah wah. If I wanted to be political I would go a site that shares both sides view fairly, kind of like the truth? Don't even start saying these posts are fair and bi partisan.
All I did was post the obvious. If it just me, then by all means kick me out or banish me. But you and I both know I am not alone here.
Enjoy the freedom to push one's political view down other un solicited minds......... To me its wrong and that's putting it mildly.
Now we can keep going expressing the same views if you like, I'm not changing mine, I'm pretty sure your not changing yours.

I dont't think it was the initial post that did it, maybe it was the first reply.

Hi John,

We don't know each other, just had the opportunity to hear you spill your thoughts on this site and forum within the last 24 hours. It's fair to say, everyone has their opinion(s) and too express them as well.....anytime, anywhere. This site is proof. I support you in your right to express your thoughts.....maybe, just not in the way you have chosen to do so......so far. The owners and moderators of the POA site are pretty forgiving and have provided forum areas for just about anything one wishes to express their thoughts on.....in one topic or another. Freedom of Choice.....Freedom of Speech and so forth is there for you/us and anyone else world-wide who chooses to frequent this fabulous site. Some people are serious, some are joyous, some are humorous, some are crazy, some are ignorant, some are happy, some are sad, some get mad, some get pissed, some require information, some provide information, some get frowns, some get smiles, some are made happy afterwards........and sometimes, some are not happy afterwards. Anyone can feel how ever they wish to..... prior to, during or after they visit this site. I hope I am conveying some points across to you, whereas, it does come down to Freedom of Choice and Freedom of Speech. Maybe your puffin' smoke out of your ears by now reading this, but keep in mind, to me it sounds like not only are you sick and tired of the Prowler Owners Association and their website (made available for the entire world to view and participate in) but quite possibly with our country as well. It really does sound like someone pissed on your Cornflakes. I ask, how do YOU accomplish watching the television, reading newspapers, driving, listening to the radio? Our entire society is SURROUNDED with politics. It's around you everywhere you look and listen. Open your eyes and listen.....it's just not here on the POA. That fact of the matter is, YOU have the Choice of Freedom to choose whether or not and what you care to listen or read about! If you watch the World Series in the next week or so and Obama throws out the first pitch, are you going watch him to do so, to turn the tv off, throw a shoe at the tv, change the channel momentarily, flip him the bird, scream and hollar in outrage? It really is irrelavent, because YOU have a CHOICE and whtever you choose is YOUR right. There is no right and wrong with your choice. Has anyone of the aforementioned means of communications ever knocked on your door asking your blessings to hammer you/us with ploitics? You have a choice.......LIKE EVERYONE else in this country and on this site whether or not you choose to listen to, watch, talk about or participate in the political grandiloquence.
You expressed in your opening post, your liking of jokes and humor. Think about it John, not everyone on this site cares for neither of the two.......it's okay and their choice to have their feelings and opinions as well. They choose either to view jokes or not. They choose to voice their opinions or not! It's like I said in a prior reply....there is nobody on this site holding a gun to anyone's head forcing them to be on this site, let alone forcing them to read anything on it. Having the Freedom of Speech is fantastic, but some of your comments and words expressed to us folks on this site are simply deemed inappropriate and in some ways, slanderous. Speak your piece (& peace if you can) as you have the right to do.....may I suggest though, in the future, think of who and how many are going to view 'your' thoughts published.....not just by the POA members, but moreover the entire world on the WWW. In closing I would like to say, I've only been associated with the POA since march of this year and quite possibly don't please some of the folks either with some of my comments/replies.....but reading your original/opening comments and further thoughts throughout this post have probably been the most dis-heartening and disturbing
I've encountered to date. I feel bad for you for you feeling the way you do towards some of my/our other POA members. I've just never heard anyone else on this site ever express thier opinion or thoughts so boldly and again, innapropriately towards others. I've had my turn expressing my thoughts here and now I would expect to hear yours regarding all the aforementioned. The only difference will be, I'm pretty resilient and have very broad shoulders to handle your reply and comments. The only thing I would ask is for you to consider.....women and children also frequent our POA site....please choose your words with discretion. BTW, I have had my say and will not give you the satisfaction of me replying hereafter......in other words John, my right to do so AND my Freedom of Choice. I will let other POA members carry on with this post and their replies sent you. Don't be mad at me for I am not mad at you......let's just say dissapointed. Kind Regards, Brett

Now that is low.

Brokie, I have finally found someone who, more than I, likes to spew out thousands of words, hoping at the end they all make sense. You failed.

Being your new I will leave it at that. One bit of advice would to be direct your rant toward someone who actually cared of those thoughts. Opps, I've gone too far I fear.

It's sunny and bright here in Calif today, so I will be on the road somewhere, carrying the torch to any and all who will listen.,,,,,,,,,

"My wheelchair is not slow"

Also Brokie,,,, when I see something on the the TV or hear on the radio I don't like, I change the channel. IF you read my posts you would have noticed I had no problem with a separate area for political items. But when they cross over into my search for humor, well you can see the results.

Cnote, this isn't over,,,,,,,,,,,,

I searched the free classified ads for the word "liberals" and nothing came up. Post a link please. I want to read that thread.
I don't remember that thread and can't find it. I am presuming you guys have lots more than one incident.

I love this site and I love the people..... I don't see a bunch of Politics etc outside of the Off topic discussions and I don't look at the "take it outside". Just knowing many of the people I have met in the club, my guess is many of them do far more than take the time to write here - I would bet many volunteer etc and donate to organizations, churches , political campaigns etc which promote their particular views - that is what impresses me about the Prowler folks - they are for the most part self starters, hard workers, entrepreneurs etc. Bet most of them do not just post here to vent and then sit back and do nothing about promoting, contributing to organizations etc to further their beliefs/convictions. That would be my bet. This site and the people who I have met at the functions, have made owning the car 1000000% better for me.

Sincerely,

John

I just don't get it. I thought "off topic" meant no car talk, am I wrong? As to political beliefs, when I read the op-ed section of the paper I read columnist with an opposite viewpoint first. I actually enjoy hearing different opinions.

I still like this site even though I don't post a real lot any more. The constant sarcasm from jd always bothered me, maybe it shouldn't have, maybe it was me, I don't know. I am damn sure he doesn't care what I think, but whatever. To me ,just more of the same. I am glad JD has many friends here. Family and friends are everything. Leave the scarcasm and complaining somewhere else. Too bad if the search for humor is interupted by some political talk. So what? Just skip it without all the bs. JMO

JD, glad to hear from you again. I rarely post here myself due to an incident in 2008. I have no problem with your views, unlike two other individuals who still use personal attacks. It is because of them that I am rarely around, although I do check the site.

Yes JD, I have been looking but I have not found another set. I am pretty sure I can find them next year at Carlisle, but I don't remember the venders name. I just have to find his space again. Blue Dot taillights is all he sells. I can find 46-48 and 53, even 56, but 50-52 are the hardest to come by. I even looked while I was in Florida last week and struck out.
