I find that there are very few pictures of the Kiss Prowler on the web. I did some searching of old posts on the forum, and from what I can tell the first owner was the band Kiss. Then the car and trailer were given away at a contest on New Years Eve. The winner could not afford the taxes, and then the car and trailer were sold to a man named Nowell Herman who was evidentially the President of the Plymouth Prowler Club (PPC). After a short time, the car went to Barrett Jackson June 16 2001 and was sold to the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A. for a whopping $140,000.00. The Prowler was on display in the "Cars and Guitars" exhibit.
So, is this history correct, and does anyone have pictures of this car and specifically the custom trailer? What happened to it? Maybe someone has pictures from the museum. Thank you.-Billy

don't know where it is today, but what you have posted is correct. My guess Nowell stole it from the winner for for the taxes and a little cash

Have seen some better pictures of it in the past, but this has not come up in a LONG TIME

The trailer had musical equipment in it

While attending at the Woodward 10 year event in 2007 we went to the Ford museum in Detroit and they were both on display. The trailer had chrome hub caps.

The Kiss Prowler was featured on the one and only Plymouth Prowler Club Magazine that was published. It was owned at that time by Nowell Herman.

I decided to call the Petersen Automotive Museum today to ask about the Kiss Prowler. The curator said the Kiss Prowler and trailer were purchased in 2001, and was in their "Cars and Guitars" exhibit. The Prowler is now in storage, but is occassionally displayed in their "Hollywood Gallery."
So, it still resides in the L.A. museum.
