OK My Prowler is ready for Las Vegas

My 2000 spent the week at the dealership having it checked out and maintenance preformed. I would have liked to do the work myself but no time..

So I thought I would share my experience with Northwest Dodge and the repairs they did with the cost.
The car has 54000 miles and has had regular service, but nothing serious as it has always been ready to roll.
This dealership has done all the work I could not perform. They first saw the car at 500 miles.. They keep the car inside over night while at the dealership, they do not have a prowler Tech, But the viper tech is the only person who work on prowlers.. Matt pays special attention to the details, and the prowler Tech cannot be rushed..

Transmissions flush 199.95
Brake flush 139.95
Cooling system flush 149.00
Oil sender replace 160.00
Replace all belts 173.00

I would recommend this dealership if you are in Houston, Call and ask for Matt in service..

Sounds like you are ready go. Knowing a car has been serviced, gives you peace of mind that your trip will be trouble free. See you in Vegas.

You must have special pull. I've had nothing but bad experiences with that dealership.
Trying to buy a new vehicle from them (on several occasions in the past) their sales crew were all jerks. The biggest jerk was the sales manager. He told me no matter what vehicle he sells me, he won't be accepting any form of discounts like F&F or (at one time) employee pricing.
Trying to get parts for the Prowler from their parts department they took forever to finally come to the counter to wait on me. When I told them what I needed, they said this is a Dodge dealership, You need to get that from a Chrysler dealership. After I told them they can get what I need just as easy, they balked at that too so I just walked out. When I went there to have my Prowler worked on, I asked if they had a Prowler tech. Service manager said he didn't know what I was talking about but that any of their mechanics could work on my Prowler. I then asked if he had a viper tech. He said he does. I asked if I could speak with him when he's got a free moment. He said no I can't. I asked if I could make an appointment with him to have him work on my car. He said they don't take appointments. Just drop your car off and we will get to it when a mechanic is free. I said I would rather wait on it. He told me I can't wait on it. It would take more than 1 day. I took my business elsewhere.
I'm glad you have the comfort of knowing you're roadworthy for such a long trip, Jim. Good luck and have a great time. I wish I was going to this one.
