Arrangements have been made for a memorial service for our lost Prowler family member Ken Owens. Ken was not only a fellow Prowler owner, but a good friend to many of us.

We will be meeting on the beach in Oxnard on Monday November 30, at 1:00 pm to remember our friend.

I know it's on a Monday, but Please try to attend.

Here's another from 2002 of Ken from our Middendorf cruise in Manchac, Louisiana and visit to Ronnie Fredric (friend of Ken since 1972) who built the Packard Limo with Viper V10. Ken is in red t-shirt and his friend Vickie in red T shirt.

Ken emailed me almost every month. We sent each other the GUY things, with funny comments. He looked forward every year to the Cruisin The Coast plaques and T-shirts I would send him. At the end of our emails, he would always end with, take care, talk soon. The last email I received a few months back was different, more about our past, and ended with, Hug the wife for me, you guys are great friends, see you. Didn't strike me strange at the time, but then there were no more emails or his usual request of, when will I get my CTC plaque? I learned about his passing on this site just last night when reading Laddies post. Still in shock. He was a true friend and a Great person. I truly enjoyed the times we shared cruising together and his short stay here before moving to Cal. He will be missed greatly!
