Finally got the bike out of the shop, it's been in there since July. Finished just in time to do a car show last weekend. We replaced all the carpeting, recovered all the panels inside with two tone red/black leather along with the seat, replace the 5 analog gauges with dakota digital guages, added wood grain steering wheel, dash, radio bezel and gear shift knob, replaced all the windows and windshield, installed radio and speakers. Replace the existing rims, upgrade the exhaust system and ceramic coated the exhaust pipes. Complete custom paint job with candy red prowler paint and air brushed real flames. Made some mechanical modifications and here's what we ended up with. you can see what the original looked like at www.leosgarage.com and click on Merlin Roadster

Corbin motors made the sparrow electric car and wanted something sportier so they came up with the Merlin, they produced 15 of them before going out of business, Merlin Motors bought the design and produced 20 of them before losing their investors. Two of them were featured in the fast and furious tokoyo as background cars.

Won Best of Show in Motorcycle Class and 1st Place in Special Interest.

I looked at those in the past. Isn't that made by Corbin? At the time I was looking they went out of business so I never pursued it. I always loved them, heck I love anything different and rare. Great job!! Enjoy it!!

I saw 2 or 3 of those going down the street about a month ago. As I turnd a corner, they were ahead of me about 3 blocks and I know that there was at least 2 of them turning the corner there. Looked wider than yours in front, but then I just caught a glimpse of them. I know that they had 2 wheels in front and 1 in the rear.
