Rod: We had a great time!! We were really lucky with the weather. It rained at night, but went around us every day except one and that day we went to the movies. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever taken. We rented bikes for the whole time and had a great time going to the beach and riding around the island between the Disney Resort and Palmetto Dunes Resort. They had entertainment every night on the waterfront at several locations and we took the kids on the dolphin cruise. It's a great family area. Ken and I got away one night for a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean. We hit Savannah one of the days and checked out the historic area with the kids. I just bought a 300 so we took that instead of the kat - LOL. Enjoy - you'll have a great time - we will definitely go back!! Bradley: How are you?? We've been incredibly busy. Finally after this weekend we will have a little bit of down time and hope to plan something soon for the DFW gang. We are thinking about having a cookout here at the house and just having everyone come on up and then we can take a drive to Lake Texoma. Will keep you posted. I just read your post and you are on your way home, June 18. Sorry I didn't get your message earlier as I cannot find any owners of Prowlers on the Island. I live here and own a Black Tie. I talked to one Prowler owner on the Island a while back but he did not seem to be interested in getting together. I think he owned or managed a local bar. I lived in Maryland and had lots of Prowler friends but have not been able to contact anyone around Hilton Head. Sorry we missed each other. Jerry Wick |
