Ed, thanks for bumping this up and to Mike for originally posting this ad.

I was living overseas (between 1996-2003) when the Prowler was introduced and marketed. I never saw a single Prowler ad until now!!! Cool.

my wife and I remember seeing a commercial where they have an artist sitting at his art table and he is drawing concept cars, then he gets excited and starts looking around and playing with clay and making all these wild shapes and then he takes a crazy animal, can't remember the animal I think its a leopard, and puts it in the clay and then he puts a car in it and mixes it all up in his hand and then he opens it and its a PROWLER and he has a big smile on his face. Does anyone else remember this neat commercial? Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hi all, just an FYI....I did a Google search and came up with this site that shows that in 1999 ZZ Top sued Chrysler and WON over the use of their song in a Prowler commercial. There's a brief 1 minute clip of the commercial and unfortunately it's not a good quality video.
(but it was a nice concept!)

here's the link: http://ccnmtl.columbia.edu/projects/law/library/cases/case_zztopchryslercorp.html

On the other hand, Ferrari really knows how to make a TV Commercial. This one gets the viewer's attention for sure and they didn't need a music sound track to do it! Enjoy!

Could you imagine Harold at one of our get togethers?

I think he would have a stroke....but then again maybe he now owns one.

Darn! 3 pages of raves about the commercial and I can't get either version to open. Are the links still good - or is it me?

I have a copy of Harold on my cell phone that I show people who have never seen it. If you want a copy PM me your email address and I will send it to you. I was a new Prowler owner when I saw it and it did give me goose bumps!

The movie has a .3gp file extension for cell phones. I can't play them on my computer because I don't have a program to open them, I really don't want one I guess. I convert files for my cell phone with Any DVC Converter Pro. It does an excellent job.
