Well, my new Kat finally arrived. I made 2 payments before I ever saw it in person. But yesterday evening was worth the wait in spite of the fact that it was too dark to take pictures.
Al Becker hauled my Kat from Denver to the Rockford Illinois area. I was expecting him today (Wednesday) but late last night he called and said he was close. Because it was dark (nearly 11:00pm) and I live out in the counrty where there are no lights, I met him at the highway and guided him thru the back roads. We unloaded his enclosed trailer to the sounds of barking dogs and neighbors wondering what was going on so late. It was all over in a hour and I guided Al back to the express way where he was no his way to Minnesota to pick up another car and take it back west.
For anyone who needs a car hauled, I enthusiastically recomment him. He has a great enclosed trailer and because he owns a Kat, he really knew how to treat mine!
Of course I dont have any pictures yet, but I will! I also drove it to work this morning and by the end of the day it was 68 degrees so I rode home with the top down. (Thats what heaters are for - right?) I bet I put a hundred miles on it just today. WHAT A GREAT RIDE!!! Now all I have to do is finish cleaning the garage so I can get both the Kat and the trailer in.

I'll do pictures as soon as I can for everyone.
