Gery....Congratulations on your new Cat and welcome to the POA!! I wish you would have contacted me and perhaps we could have made this happen a little sooner. I am always happy to help! All I can say is that you certainly were persistent in your quest to own the coolest car on the planet!!

You should try to get together with Olivier Aebersold from Geneva, Switzerland (OllieKat) . He has a 99 Purple Prowler and trailer. He flew over here last August to attend our big event in Tennessee. I'm sure he will tell you he had a great time and he is one great guy!!! Hope to meet you at an event in the future!!

Welcome, and congrats!! Helga and I will be going to Germany in June, around Bararia about 40 miles from Austria border. But it must be a blast to drive over there.

Hi Bob, Hi Pat&Norm, Hi Randy, Hi Y.F., Hi Colleen&Bob,
Hi CJ, Hi Helga&Steven, Hi Jan&Jim;
Thanks for all your friendly words!

Pat&Norm:
Yes, that´s good old Europe with high taxes (Germany has the lowest tax for cars with 16%, BUT highest car-taxes are in Denmark with over 200% !!).
The exact insurance cost I don´t know yet, because the Prowler gets his license plates in April (I drove the Mulholland only with temporary-plates), but the cost is for sure higher than yours, because the car value with tax is higher than yours. For example the costs for a new C5 Corvette Targa in Austria is 74.700 EURO incl. tax (about 95.000 USD). When I have exact insurance costs for the Prowler I will let you know.
For us Continental Europeans the steering wheel is on the correct side. Only Great Britain need the steering wheel on the right. They drive on the wrong side!
You have a great, detailed and helpful scrapbook!! Love it.

Danke für die Übersetzung, jetzt kenne ich mich wirklich aus.
Schneebälle?! I feel like home, because snow we have enough this winter in Austria. That is why we have the best alpine Ski-team of the world (You in Texas have no snow, but the best president of the world).
WOW, first German-words at POA, a real international site!! And Hey, your German is much better than my English.
I knew it, there must be European blood in your veins (and your computer also, because of the ü,ö and ä). LOL

CJ:
Love your " first hand" infos, you are one reason, why this site is so great. We European Prowler-owner got our infos only from POA (for Chrysler-Europe the Prowler do not exist), so I knew, that I got much more input from this board than I can give. So I feel free to offer you and all Members on this board my help, if you need something from Europe.
I was not sure, if you are interested, when a new Prowler goes over the Atlantic. Some 5-star dealers told me, that it is not allowed for them to sell outside USA (but I purchased my Mulholland from a 5-star dealer) - that´s why I haven´t contacted you. I only want a new Prowler, because the US warranty doesn´t cover outside USA. So I have no warranty on my car, and for reduction of my risk, I only searched for a new Prowler. Only Bob Holloran´s Blue Tie inspired me, that I would jump over my shadow, but....... you know the story.

Steven:
Bavaria is a great place for vacation. So you will be about 200 miles away from me. Yes, it really must be a blast with a Prowler in the homeland of BMW and Audi. I bet you will not see a Prowler (At my search for a Prowler in Europe I found only 2 Prowlers in Munich). Have a good time in Bavaria and if you feel the need for a Prowler: call me.

Awww, shucks, Gery.......thanks! The one thing you will find on this site and in this group are a great group of people who share a passion for one really cool car!!! All of us were new owners at one time, so who better to help the new owners!!?? I am fortunate to be in a position of being able to help with a lot of corporate- related things and it pleases me to be able to do so.

I am just glad that you were finally able to fulfill your dream of getting a Prowler.......with or without my help! You are in for the time of your life!! Make sure you post some pictures!!

Hi Christina!
Cold place where you live. I think your Prowler-season is also short like mine. When do you start Prowlin after the winter? Have fun!

Trey:
Well, than it is time for a 4th Prowler. I´m inquisitive what color!
Grüße aus Österreich und auf Wiedersehen.

CJ:
Thanks again.
In July 2003 a Chrysler-manager (with his wife and 3 childs) from Auburn Hills stayed a few days for vacation at my guesthouse. He was in Stuttgart/Germany at Daimler/Chrysler-Mercedes for schooling(training). After this, he made a trip around Europe. Maybe I found his name and maybe you know him.

Hi Gery,

Yes, it is really cold up here in Canada. Hopefully

I will take my car out in the end of March or beginning of

April. I can't wait to drive her with the top down and

the tunes up really loud!!

Yes! Christina, that is definately the way to drive our Kats.
Same season-start to me, but wish we had a longer season to enjoy it. I bet that is why we "winter-stater" have a double grinnin and the double fun, when we drive Kats, than owners who can drive their Prowlers the whole year.

BTW: Read your topic "gears". My new G-Force gears are on the way from Canada to Austria. I hope to have them installed before spring. Greetings to Canada
Gery
