The following programs "may" be TV worth watching... some Hot Rod stuff. I have not seen either one and they are currently be hyped as "Premier" broadcasts. First one "RIDES" premiers tomorrow night, Tuesday, 6 January 2004 @ 9:00 PM EST on TLC. Second one "AMERICAN HOT ROD" premiers Friday, 23 January 2004 on the DISCOVERY CHANNEL... I do not know the time but I belive this features some Boyd Coddington vehicles. Not being an avid TV watcher I just barley caught this information, so please check your local times and channels if interested. These may be worth watching... I hope so! HAPPY NEW YEAR, Jay |

If you like the Rides Show I have the first show availble on DVD and it has tons of added stuff $15.00 FYI it looks like they are making a total of 12 shows. ------------------ |

I definitley want to check out RIDES....I hope the Coddington special is new....if he's doing a yellow/blue hot rod, it's been shown before.... |

In setting up to record this on my Tivo, I show a different schedule for the Hot Rod Show. It shows that it airs on January 16 at 10:00 p.m. and then again on January 17 at 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The description says "Boyd Coddington reinvents the hot rod in th 1960's."

the first "RIDES " aired last nt, if all of them are as good as the first, its worth watching!! last nt was the reissue proto of the SHELBY COBRA new style remake. body style looked great, but the rear and rear lights left alot to be desired. the instrument panel was so sterile, looked like a chromed/alum. hi-fi (pretty poor) horsepower!!!!! it has it . watching shelby doing donuts was great!!! what were your thoughts? *** this coming tues should be great if you saw the previews. ------------------ |
