Bill, Use a wrench and take them offlol Seriously, don't use wax. I use liquid chrome on all my black plastic and vinyl exterior parts. ------------------ |

I use the Meguiar's cleaner wax and it works great. I put the wax on & off with an orbital pad. Makes them look like new. ------------------ |

I use Meguiars rubber treatment, and also Tire Wet dressing. I then buff the bumpers to get the wet sheen off. Though Sirreal showed me some of the super vinyl/ rubber spray that only dealers are able to get. He just sprayed it on his bumper and they instantly had a smooth gloss sheen that was amazing. Why can't the public get that stuff??? |

quote: Me too. I did try ultra Coat II this week on the bumpers. but in my opinion, left them too streaked. But it worked better everywhere else I used it (engine bay - never used BtoB here, rear fender covers, seal strip on door) ------------------ |

I've used Zaino, 303, ProtectAll and Armorall. I've used several tire glosses, including Eagle 1. The only thing that I've tried that lasts and doesn't streak is Lane's Super Blue Tire Gloss. Also seems to stay clean a lot longer, such as when caught in the rain. -GRROWL |

The product that I find to give the highest sheen is Meguires Endurance. It comes with an applicator to use for tires. Just rub it on and wipe it off with a clean dry towel. Extra shiney! Kendra |
