I am wondering if anyone here has purchased the original MOPAR car cover made for the Prowler. I have a chance to buy one new in the box, but sight unseen. So I am wondering what type of material this was made of, and is it soft on the inside of the cover for paint protection. I just purchased a 2001 Black Tie that is immaculate and want to keep it that way. Any info will be appreciated! |

I have the original Mopar Prowler car cover for both of my cats and have never had a problem with it. Oh yeah.........according to the Prowler Accessory brochure, the car and trailer cover are made of a weather-resistant, Evolution (Evolution is a registered trademark of Kimberly-Clark Corp.) synthetic material with the Prowler logo embroidered in purple on the front of the car cover and the rear of the trailer cover. The car cover features pockets for the rearview mirrors and rear exhaust heat shield. Both covers have rear license plate windows. The utility bag comes with the car cover and contains enough volume to hold both covers. It is also available separately. ......and yes, it is soft on the inside! Just a bit of advise on any cover,be sure manfactor knows type of material your top is made of.On a hartsh type material a fleece lining will leave so much lint stuck to top it is a pain to remove.I found this out when I purchased one for my 32 Ford Roadster. They do make covers for this type top.California Car Cover 800-423-5525 Gene |

CJ: I didn't know that Mopar made a travel cover. I have the car cover, but I bought a travel cover aftermarket. My travel cover was very expensive and doesn't fit near as good as my Mopar car cover. Has anyone used the Mopar TRAVEL COVER? ------------------ |

Thanks to everyone who commented! I missed out on the original MOPAR cover, so I'll probably get one special made off one of the web sites..maybe from California Car Cover. |
