Does any one have the total 2002 sales numbers for the Prowler? PT Cruiser? Vipers? Vettes? Is there a website out there that list the 2002 Auto Sales for each auto by make and models? Thanks, ------------------ |

Brian. Not aware of that type of website. But, here's the information on 2002 Sales for the three cars you requested (this is from the DC media press releases issued each month). 2002 US Sales: Prowler ..... 1,494 ------------------ |

Here is a dumb question. Are these build numbers or actual retail sales numbers? |

At the rate they sold in 2002, they should be all gone by this summer. |

Dr Prowler. I haven't tracked the Liberty. I can give you a close estimate. Looking back through my hard copy files, I have all but two (Feb & Mar) hard copies of DC press releases. Using the average monthly sales for Jan, Apr & May (12,113) as an estimate for Feb. & Mar., the 2002 Liberty Sales would be 171,378. |

I was told buy the dealer when looking at the PTs that I should buy the Limited because it would be a collectors item. I just looked at him and laughed out loud, really loud. I then told him that I owned a Prowler and that they only built about 11,000 Prowlers over 5 years and that they probably make more than 11,000 "Limited" in a month. Its funny to see the PTs going from selling for 1000s over sticker to now seeing them advertised for as low as $12,999 within less than a years time. ------------------ |
